Ophelia Copes, age 104, of Brooklyn Center, died Nov. 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Le Roy.
Ophelia was a 1929 graduate of South High, attended the University of Minnesota, and was a 1935 graduate of MacPhail School of Music. She shared her wealth of musical knowledge through 60 years of teaching piano.
Her grace and gentleness enriched all the lives she touched. Ophelia will be missed by many special friends and family members. Special thanks to caregivers at Park Nicollet and St. Therese New Hope.
