The protest, which lasted roughly two hours, was part of a national call to action issued by Stand Together Against Racism and Islamophobia. The Anti-War Committee and Minnesotans Against Islamophobia co-sponsored the event.
Protesters marched through the Cedar Riverside neighborhood, which is predominantly an immigrant community where many Muslims reside, to their final destination outside the Minnesota GOP office.
