Voters can place ballots directly into counting machines one week before election
Eligible voters will place their ballots directly into a ballot counter when voting in person October 31-November 6.
Voting machines will record votes as they are turned in, but will not report results until after polls close on Election Day, November 7.
In-person absentee voting is available now at city halls and school district offices across Hennepin County and at the Early Vote Center in downtown Minneapolis. Each city or school district location can accommodate voters who live in that particular city or school district. Check available locations to vote early. Ramsey County will also be opening early voting locations from October 31- November 6. For information, visit: http://bit.ly/RamseyCountyEarlyVoting.
Visit the Minnesota Secretary of State website at www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting for complete voting information, including a sample ballot and candidate listings.
