The Community Engagement Supervisor works directly with all people in ways that are equitable and inclusive, requiring skills and approaches that reflect a strong social inclusion perspective.
This position supervises and collaborates to support community-based projects, develop opportunities for involvement, and connect people to activity throughout the neighborhoods of Hopkins Public Schools. Engage residents, service providers, and institutional stakeholders living and working in the community.
Engage youth, families, and individuals through a variety of arts opportunities. Strong communication, organizational, and
problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Experience with diverse populations; racially, culturally, socio-economically and GLBTQ. Creativity and initiative in program development.
Good oral and written communication skills. BA/BS degree in Youth work, Community Organizing, Education, Recreation, or related degree preferred. Spanish or Somali language proficiency preferred. 3-years related work experience required.
