The City of Dubuque, Iowa (population 58,000) invites applications for the position of Assistant Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and basic professional city planning, historic preservation, and development service assignments, with special emphasis on the administration of historic preservation and land use regulations.
The successful candidate will possess a degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in planning, geography, historic preservation, public administration or related field and experience working with a diverse workforce; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the essential knowledge, skills and abilities.

The City offers an annual salary range of $52,790 to $68,952 effective July 1, 2018, and an attractive benefit package.
