“20 YEARS”
It’s been that long since you’ve been gone.
20 years since I heard your voice,
Saw your lovely smile or felt your special hug.
Although I try to block that terrible day out of my mind,
I think of you daily.
One of my fondest memories is when you were 4 years old and we were about to go somewhere and you said to me “Hurry-up Mom,
I got places to go, people to see, and autographs to sign”
Those words still bring a smile to my face.
I often wonder if you would’ve followed your dreams of getting a business degree
and then becoming a nite club owner or managing or owning a men’s upscale retail store.
You are missed by family and friends and often times your name still comes up.
I could go on and on about how much you are missed, but I think your headstone says it all —
“YOUR FOOT PRINTS WERE LEFT ON OUR
SOULS AND YOUR SPIRIT WILL
FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS”
“20 Years”
Love Mom,
Becki Hardeman

Right now, when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God’s unfailing love will soften the hurt you’re feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on earth, as Acts 24:15 tells us. I do hope you find comfort in this.
Though I did not know your loved one, he sound like a beautiful person. I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.
