Did you know that 165 out of every 100,000 people in the Midwest are living with multiple sclerosis (MS)? According to the CDC, approximately 200 new cases of MS are diagnosed every week across the US. MS is an unpredictable disease that can impact all areas of a person’s life.
As people move forward in their MS journey, so much knowledge and insight about the disease is gained, and, with that, goals and priorities may change.
When living with MS or any chronic illness, arming yourself with knowledge is one of the most important thing someone can do for their health. To help address this, Sanofi Genzyme (my client) is hosting a free event in your area to help raise awareness about MS. Local neurologist, Dr. Angela Borders-Robinson, from the NORAN Neurological Clinic which has six locations across the Twin Cities, will be speaking at a free event called “Knowledge is Power” on Thursday, May 17th at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington from 6-8 pm. At the event, guests will learn how to reevaluate their treatment and whether it’s still meeting their needs.
