Senior guard KIARA BUFORD (St. Paul Central), who helped Minutemen to Class 4A state titles in 2007 and ’08, had 15 points for the Gophers in their victory over Ohio State.
TAYLER HILL (Minneapolis South) a 2009 McDonald’s All-American, Miss Basketball, and currently the leading scorer in the Big Ten, led Ohio State with 26 points in their loss to the Gophers.
JOE COLEMAN (Hopkins), Mr. Basketball in 2011, scored 11 points in the Gophers’ 77-72 overtime victory over Illinois.
