Richard Sherman’s post-game comments overblown by information bubbles

The information bubble-blowers are ever on the job. In case you forgot, an information bubble is produced oftentimes by the media, sending out information that confirms any misbeliefs fans already have about a certain person — and usually that person is Black. I watched Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman’s post-game comments. If you are among those who don’t know what the young man said, here is the gist of it:

Ravens vs. 49ers an all-Harbaugh Super Bowl

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans braces for Super Bowl XLVII, the first Super Bowl in that city since the horrific storm Hurricane Katrina. 49ers rule the Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO — Yes, the 49ers are back after dominating the Arizona Cardinals 23-7 at Candlestick Park Sunday for their eighth-straight win. The 49ers (9-1) are riding the wave of returning to the playoffs. It’s been a long dry spell for the Bay Area, with San Francisco and Oakland having fallen on hard times in recent years. Combined, the 49ers and Oakland Raiders, who beat the Vikings 27-21 Sunday at Mall of America Field at the Metrodome, have captured eight Super Bowls. The 49ers have won five and the Raiders three; both teams currently are in first place in their respective Divisions. Continue Reading →
