The 2012 state boys’ basketball tournament held at the Target Center last weekend will certainly be one to remember.
There were two buzzer-beaters in the Class 3A and4A title games. City Conference teams from Minneapolis and St. Paul placed second and third respectively in Class 3A. Last week I saw three boys’ basketball contests. Two went into overtime, and two teams served notice that the Minneapolis and St. Paul City Conference titles won’t be that easy to reclaim by the defending champs.
