Rosters set for this year’s All-Star Classic


The 20th Annual Inner City All-Star Classic rosters are set. The event, to be held Sunday, June 16 at Schoenecker Arena on the campus of the University of St. Thomas, features some of the top local graduating boys’ and girls’ basketball players in the metro area.

St. Paul Central still on top


MARIAH GUERRA-EDWARDS scored 16 points, BETSY MACDONALD added 14, and SADE CHATMAN chipped in 11 as St. Paul Central served notice that they are still the top girls’ basketball team in the City Conference with an 80-54 victory over Highland Park. PARIS CRENSHAW led Highland with 12 points. ASHLEE MORALEZ and TAMERA CURTIS each added 10 for the Scots.
