Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the 2012 Tony Award for Best Play, Bruce Norris’ satiric comedy deals with race and class in response to Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun.
The play begins in 1959 as a Black family moves into a white neighborhood in Chicago. Act Two takes us to the same house in 2009 as gentrification sets in and the roles are reversed.
