Washington, D.C. —On December 3, 2015, the First Family joined hundreds of people to officially light the National Christmas Tree on the White House Ellipse. The ceremony was hosted by Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and featured performances from David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, Fall Out Boy, Andra Day, Aloe Blacc, Scandal's Bellamy Young, Kelsea Ballerini, Tori Kelly, Trombone Shorty, the Joyous String Ensemble and the United States Coast Guard Band, and also, a special appearance by Miss Piggy. ©2015 Photo by Cheriss May, www.cherissmay.com
