Jeanne Davis-Dixon was born in Rosebud, Texas on March 29, 1934. She fought her good fight and reached her final resting place with Jesus Christ on December 23, 2015 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Eddie Mae Davis, daughter Melanie (Dixon) Miles, Sister Perlie Mae Cockrell, and grandchildren Tyra Dixon, T’nae Lowe, Lanear Dunn and Keontrell Govan.
Jeanne will be missed by her children, Michael (Lottie), Marc (Sheila), Mitchel and Marci, and two sisters Lenora Clark and Mildred Young, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter, and a host of relatives and friends.
The wake will be held on Saturday, January 9, 10-11 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:15 am. All services will be held at High Praise Ministries the Destiny Center, 1200 N. 7th St., Minneapolis, MN 55411.
