Federal program should consider new focus

The federal program, “Countering Violent Extremism,” which focuses on local Muslims, looks more racist everyday as mass-murders by Christian White males increase.

Moreover, local government grants given to combat “extremism,” court-ordered counseling for “terror suspects,” ISIS recruitment case, local Somali Americans put in prison for decades, community liaison officers and mentoring programs to combat “radicalization,” and Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office proposing a series of “Radicalization Prevention workshops,” all reflect the racist obsession that sees local Somali Americans as a violent threat, while White males continue to go about their business stockpiling weapons and committing heinous crimes.

How can this government program not be focused on keeping weapons out of the hands of angry White men?
