April declared Tech Month in Minnesota

Governor Walz has proclaimed the month of April 2021 as Technology Month in Minnesota.
It’s a time to draw attention to the critical importance of Information Technology in Minnesota’s
economy.

Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development projects high demand
for IT professionals in our state through 2028 and beyond. The April Tech Month interactive career events below feature growing opportunities in the metro region and are now open for registration.

Get Skilled for a New Career in IT
April 22
11 am-noon 
Join our state’s tech sector through a  Zoom conversation and receive information on free, or low-
cost, IT training opportunities in the metro region.

Metro Region Interactive Virtual Technology Career Fair
April 27
7:30–10 am
Interact with employers at the Metro Region Interactive Virtual Technology Career Fair. This event kicks off with a keynote address from Jeff Tollefson, president and CEO of the MN Technology Association.

From 8:15-10 am, guests are welcome to meet, chat and interview with recruiters and hiring
