The Minnesota Timberwolves (14-40) got 27 points each from Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell leading them to a 121-112 victory over the Chicago Bulls (22-30) in an NBA matchup Sunday evening at the Target Center.
Contributing to the winner’s balanced attack were Naz Reid with 18, Ricky Rubio adding 17 and Anthony Edwards chipping in 15.
Zach Levine led Chicago with a game-high 30 points. Nikola Vucevic (18), Troy Brown Jr. (15), Daniel Theis (13), Coby White (11) and Tomas Satoransky (10) also contributed to the Bull’s attack.
Towns also had a team-high 12 rebounds and Rubio led the way with nine assists for the Wolves.
