Join hosts from Gillette Children’s for a fun day of learning, mentorship and networking as we work toward building a stronger and more equitable future for the medical field. The summit will bring together students, parents, educators, clinicians, and community leaders to inspire youth to consider careers in healthcare. Over the course of the day, students will engage in hands-on activities and network with health care professionals from diverse backgrounds. Participants of all genders are welcome, in grades 3 and up. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend this event with their children

Established in 2013, the Black Men in White Coats campaign was created in response to an Association of American Medical Colleges’ report highlighting the decreasing number of black male applicants to medical school.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all registered attendees.
