Excited Delirium: How A Controversial Diagnosis is Being Used to Justify Police Violence
January 11 @ 6:00 pm-7:00 pm
Free
Please join the University of St. Thomas School of Law’s Community Justice Project (CJP), in partnership with Communities United Against Police Brutality (CUAPB), as we host a virtual town hall event about Excited Delirium, an unscientific “disease” that is often used as a cause of death in police use of force cases.
We will be joined by medical experts from around the nation, in addition to local lawyers and activists, to give a broad overview of what Excited Delirium is, how its misused, and what we can do about it as a community.
