Saint Paul Art Crawl at Union Depot
May 13-May 15Free
Visit Union Depot for the 31st annual Saint Paul Art Crawl. This free event will feature 30 local artists showcasing their work at Union Depot in Lowertown. The event will be held Friday, May 13 from 5 – 9 p.m., Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 15 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The exhibits can be found in the Head House on the first level of Union Depot.
There will be a variety of artists displaying work ranging from photography, paintings, jewelry, pottery, sculptures, mixed media and more. It is a great opportunity to meet and talk with local artists about their work and find a wide selection of one-of-a-kind art and handmade gifts.
The beautiful architecture and community atmosphere of Union Depot make this the perfect backdrop for the Saint Paul Art Crawl. After taking in the art, guests can dine at Station 81 Drink & Eatery, located in the Head House next to the Art Crawl exhibitors.
“As one of the largest locations in the Saint Paul Art Crawl, Union Depot is a can’t miss destination. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know and support our talented, local artists,” said Lindsay Boyd, Senior Marketing & Events Manager at Union Depot.
One of the artists exhibiting at Union Depot is Rachel Cain. Cain is a local photographer who strives for work that can be a respite from a noisy world by creating works that are either meditative, joyful, or even set a pensive mood. She is particularly drawn to old buildings, texture, architecture, landscapes and birds. You can find her work at cainrachelr.wix.com/rachelsphotos
