The Minnesota Timberwolves’ season ended with a 124-103 loss to the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference finals last Thursday evening at Target Center.
The tandem of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving scored 36 points each. P.J. Washington Jr. had 12 and Daniel Gafford 11 for the Mavericks, who won the best-of-seven series 4-1.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards scored 28 points apiece for the Timberwolves. Other outstanding players for Minnesota were Mike Conley, Rudy Gobert, Naz Reid, Jaden McDaniels and Kyle Anderson.
