With just one week to go before the Nov. 3 election, two additional Early Vote Centers have opened up for Minneapolis voters.
In addition to early vote centers at 980 E. Hennepin Ave., and at the Hennepin County Government Center, 300 6th St. S., starting Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 8 am, two additional early vote locations will open at:
- The North Early Vote Center at Urban League Twin Cities, 2100 Plymouth Ave. N. (Watch a live stream on the City’s Facebook page).
- The South Early Vote Center at Longfellow Park Recreation Center, 3435 36th Ave. S.
Early vote centers make early in-person voting more convenient for Minneapolis voters. They are especially helpful to people who need language support or other special accommodations, such as curbside voting.
During the pandemic, voting early can help people avoid lines and crowds at polling places on the day of the election.
More information on early in-person voting is available on the Elections & Voter Services website: vote.minneapolismn.
