It’s that time of year again when our TV screens become a cornucopia of holiday cheers and tears as we take in holiday comedies, dramas, and everything in between.

Indulge! We can lounge in our ugliest sweaters and comfiest PJs, enjoy cups of eggnog and plates full of leftovers while taking in hours of feel-good TV without shame or guilt. Below is a sampling of holiday shows in December. Cheers!

“A Chestnut Family Christmas” (streaming at www.oprah.com)

When a talented pastry chef, who has always been the family black sheep and is currently working as a live-in cook/maid, accidentally commits to hosting her family for the holidays, she pretends she is the wealthy homeowner with a pitch-perfect life to impress them.
