To close out Black History Month, Golden Valley’s Meadowbrook Elementary recently hosted an event that featured its students performing music, poetry, and a mock swearing-in ceremony for Golden Valley Mayor Roslyn Harmon and Hopkins School Board Member Brooke Roper. Both Roper and Harmon were sworn in by Hopkins School Board Superintendent Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed, Ed.L.D.
