In a rematch of last year’s Twin Cities Girls basketball championship, the Minneapolis North Polars, coached by Brianna Edwards, defeated the St. Paul Como Park Cougars, led by Olonda England, 65-62 in one of the most exciting games of the season.

North was led by Aniyrah Gorman’s 24 points. E’Miyah Carter added 18, and Shanice Glover chipped in 10.

Ahmani Crump led Como Park with 31 points. Samya Denman, Naijiona Shaw and Alayla Salas also contributed to the Cougar’s effort.
