Overview:
The inaugural Black Women of Impact Twin Cities Honors will recognize influential Black women whose leadership, advocacy and service continue to strengthen communities across the Twin Cities.

An evening dedicated to celebrating the leadership and contributions of Black women across the Twin Cities will take place March 20 at 6IX Mears.
The inaugural Black Women of Impact – Twin Cities Honors will bring together community members, advocates and leaders to recognize women whose work continues to strengthen communities across the region.
Organizers say the event will celebrate individuals whose leadership, service and commitment are helping shape the future of the Twin Cities. Honorees represent a wide range of industries and experiences, but share a common focus on community impact and progress.

The 2026 honorees being recognized include:

Together, the honorees reflect the strength, leadership and dedication of Black women whose work continues to uplift communities across Minnesota.
Honoring the legacy of Debonaire Andre McNeal
The inaugural celebration is presented in honor of the legacy of Andre ‘Debonaire’ McNeal, whose work championed recognizing and celebrating Black excellence.
Organizers say his belief that celebration itself is a form of justice continues to inspire the event and its mission to uplift leaders who are making an impact.
