More than $9.58 million in grants was awarded to 650 Twin Cities businesses in 2024, and so far in 2025, 30 additional businesses have received grants totaling $622,700.
The MN PROMISE Act is a state-funded small business revitalization program that provides grants and loans to disadvantaged businesses and nonprofits located in eligible areas of South Minneapolis, Saint Paul, North Minneapolis, or Uptown.
