At the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder (MSR), we appreciate your support and want you to be fully satisfied with your merchandise purchase. Below is our policy for shipping, returns, and exchanges.
Shipping Information
We ship all merchandise orders via USPS.
- Orders are processed within 5 business days.
- Once shipped, delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location.
- You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (if applicable) once your order ships.
Returns & Refunds
We accept returns on merchandise items only. Returns must be requested within 30 days of the original purchase date.
Eligible Items for Return
- Items must be unused and unwashed.
- Merchandise does not need to have original tags or packaging.
- A proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for the following:
- Subscriptions
- Donations
- Gift cards
- Digital/downloadable products
- Clearance or final sale items
- Custom or personalized items
How to Start a Return
Email us at billing@spokesman-recorder.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you’d like to return
- Reason for return
Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item was incorrect or damaged upon arrival.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the return, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Exchanges
We are happy to offer exchanges for the same item in a different size.
To request an exchange, email us at billing@spokesman-recorder.com with your order number, the current size, and the size needed.
- If the item is in stock, we’ll process the exchange once we receive the original item.
- Customers are responsible for shipping the item back to us unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, contact us at billing@spokesman-recorder.com within 7 days of delivery. We’ll make it right—either by issuing a refund or sending a replacement at no cost to you.
