Vikings to honor Dennis Green on Sunday
0-2 Buffalo is here Sunday when the Vikings will honor at halftime former head coach Dennis Green by inducting him into the team’s Ring of Honor. Green’s family, including his window Marie Green, daughters Patti and Vanessa, and son Zachary will receive a personal artist-painted portrait of Green.

It’s good the Vikings got around to honoring Dennis Green, because all he did was make NFL history. Since Kevin Warren became chief operating officer of the Vikings — he’s been here 13 years now — the first Black COO of an NFL franchise and the highest ranking Black executive on the business side of an NFL team.
