Two former Twin Cities Metro area high school boys’ basketball standouts, Tre Holloman and Lu’Cye Patterson, went at it during the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers men’s basketball Big Ten Conference opener against the Michigan State Spartans, with Holloman leading the Spartans with eight assists and Patterson scoring 12 points and four assists for the Gophers.
