Sat., Mar. 26, 5 pm: Twin Cities Omega Zulu presents “Get Tha Funk Down!” Fundraiser
Hosted by Minnesota hip hop pioneer TruthMaze and B-boy Minhzy
Featuring hip hop dance battles: B-boy/B-girl (breaking) and popping. Winners of each battle will receive a $250 prize.
Also featuring exhibition battles in house dance, DJing, popping, and B-boy/B-girl (breaking)
Proceeds go to fund Twin Cities Omega Zulu, a chapter of the Universal Zulu Nation, founded in 1973 by hip hop godfather Afrika Bambaataa.

Thurs.-Fri., Mar. 24-25, 8 pm: Woyzeck on the Highveld presented by William Kentridge/Handspring Puppet Company
An adaptation of Georg Buchner’s play about jealousy, murder and the ultimate destruction of an individual by an uncaring society makes the main character a migrant worker in 1956 Johannesburg and tells the story with live actors, puppets and animated film.
Tickets are $24-$30 ($20-$25 for Walker members).
