Diabetic eye disease on the rise in U.S. — African Americans at higher risk

Diabetes affects nearly 26 million people in the United States. In addition, another 79 million people are estimated to have pre-diabetes, a condition that puts people at increased risk for diabetes. All people with diabetes, both type 1 and type 2, are at risk for diabetic eye disease, a leading cause of vision loss and blindness.

Diabetic eye disease refers to a group of eye problems that people with diabetes may face as a complication of the disease and includes cataract, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. Diabetic retinopathy, the most common diabetic eye disease, is the leading cause of blindness in adults 20 to 74 years of age.

    What is the physiological explanation for the relationship between diabetes and end-stage renal disease?

    Walking 10000 steps a day will not produce the dramatic weight
    loss promised (but often not delivered) by many fad diets. Whole Grains:
    Choose whole grain breads, pasta and brown rice
    which are packed with fiber. Most of the people who diet has to cut down on their calories
    intake to appoint that what they are taking is not
    even enough for a 10 year old.

    There are a great many specifically targeted dietary supplements, developed to ensure you receive the proper intake of the crucial nutrients and vitamins your body needs during dieting.

    If your physician is not familiar with the clinical references then
    the merit of any critical assessment should be considered.
    Visualize success in the gym and all that goes with it.
    – People who are vegetarians and can’t find the proper sources to supplement their diet.
