Martha Ann Taylor, age 78, of Minneapolis passed away on August 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by parents Benjamin and Catherine Burton; siblings Kenneth Myers, Clarence Burton, Charles Burton and Audrey Burton; and children Cathy Cunningham and Floyd Cunningham Jr.
Martha had a zest for life. She was well known for her easy smile, wonderful laugh, and deep lasting friendships. She believed in the power of positive thought. She taught everyone around her that they could be anything they desired using the inner will power, strength and tenacity that God has given to all of us.
“Never give up! Whatever you believe, you can achieve with a positive mental attitude.” These were her mantras in life. She is survived by children Alice Cunningham, Gary L. Cunningham, and Makeba Cunningham; sister Katie Burton; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Urban Ventures, 3014 4th Ave. So., Minneapolis, MN 55408 on Thursday, September 3, from 6-8 pm.
