ICAA Breeze track club makes strides at AAU Junior Olympic Games

The Icaabreeze Track Club-St. Paul, coached by St. Paul Mechanic Arts High School track phenom Henry Combs, competed in the AAU Junior Olympic Games held in Norfolk, Virginia, August 1-8 for track and field athletes ages 7-18.

Juriad Hughes Jr. continued his progression as one of the nation’s top 10-year-olds, placing first in the long jump, and second in the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash.

Drevonte Dunkins (11 years old) placed second in the 800 meter and eighth in the 1500 meter run. Danesha Bea (12 years old) placed sixth in the long jump in the girls 12-year old competition.

Dante White (13 year old) finished sixth in the high jump and seventh in the long jump. Brieashia Hunter (17-18 year olds) placed second in the 400 meters.
