Sister Spokesman gathered a lively mix of community members and expert panelists at Arnellia’s in St. Paul to discuss healthy relationships, Saturday, April 2.
The afternoon was filled with dancing, prize giveaways, shopping, socializing and words of wisdom from SAFE Families Manager Sam Simmons, Children’s Services Director Kaymalya Howard, and Mental Health Practioner Brandon Jones (pictured above).
During the discussion, panelist Kaymalya Howard said, “Love should not be that hard…” as she reflected on how relationships can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. Brandon Jones disagreed slightly saying, “Relationships take a lot of hard work… It’s a journey, not a destination.”
