On Friday, August 5, MAD DADS Minneapolis hosted Senior Citizen Safety Pride Day at Boom Island in Minneapolis. The festivities included food, games, information about community resources, remarks of encouragement and appreciation by community activist Spike Moss and MAD DADS Minneapolis President VJ Smith, live entertainment from James “Cornbread” Harris, Sr., Wenso Ashby and more.
