It was announced Oct. 3 that the Minnesota Nurses Association voted down Allina’s latest contract proposal on behalf of nurses at five striking Allina Health hospitals. The strike has been going on since Sept. 5.
Below are photos from the Sept. 30 rally in Minneapolis where union members and striking nurses gathered to press their contract demands. Roughly 100-150 gathered to listen to speeches, march, and show solidarity with nurses on strike. All photos by Chris Juhn.
