Makarei Payne Glass is a vibrant 12-year-old girl who has what it takes to win another pageant. She won a pageant last year and was featured in the MSR.
This year, she won the 2017 America’s “Little Miss Midwest Pre-teen” Pageant. The event was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota, April 7- 9. Makarei was chosen to be Miss Midwest, which is the event’s most coveted title. She was also chosen Most Photogenic, Most Beautiful, Most Beautiful Smile and winner of the Casual Modeling Category.
She will represent the Midwest in the national pageant held at the Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando, Florida, July 5-9. The pageant provides between $500 and $700 in prizes and scholarships to winners in different age ranges and categories.

She remains an active member of Wayman AME Church as a Sunday school worship leader, and participant in all youth church activities. Rev. Reff and her church always support all of her endeavors and keep her in their prayers.
Makarei looks forward to — once again — capturing the national title and bringing home that coveted crown.
