Come out to St. Paul’s ONLY annual African arts and culture festival! It is an outdoor, family-friendly and free event that features African artist performances, music, poetry, dance, drumming, live painting, face-painting, and more! Celebrate Our Beloved Community, Still We Rise
Gather at Sabathani Community Center with other community members at 10:30 am. A rally for Justice and Freedom kicks off at 11 am. At noon, there will be a Still We Rise march from Sabathani to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Park (4055 Nicollet Avenue, Mpls), with a celebration to follow from 1-4 pm that includes the Legacy Council’s Call to Action and Stay Awake Vol 4. free concert.

Original 5 Old School Day Party On The River
Old school free park party from 3 pm – 5 pm sponsored by Jimmy Johns sandwiches, plus burgers and dogs. The boat loads at 5:30 pm, launches at 6 pm and sails to 9 pm.
