Lottie Marie Dixon (“Girlfriend”) was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 16, 1951. She went home to glory September 1, 2017 at the age of 65. Lottie is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lottie Demmings; sister Lenora Stewart; three brothers Earl, Richard and James; and daughter Tyra Dixon.
Lottie will be missed by husband Michael Dixon; sisters Vera (Horace) Hughes and Earline (Jefferson) Lee; children Michael (Akilah) Dixon, Tia (Newmann) Thomas, Ebony Dixon and Ashli Henderson; grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a host of relatives and friends.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, at 10 am at High Praise Ministries the Destiny Center, 1200 N. 7 th St., Minneapolis, MN.
