Jordyn Elizabeth Owens, a young lover of the arts, entered this world on May 17, 2011 in Wilson, North Carolina and departed on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN. She was truly a God-given gift and child to the parents of Reverend Fred and Minister Tonya Owens.
Jordyn loved to dance, sing, paint and draw. She was lovable and carried a smile everywhere she traveled. Even at six years old she dreamed of becoming a dancer and cardiologist. She was truly a daddy’s and mommy’s girl.
Jordyn is survived by her parents, Reverend Fred and Minister Tonya Owens; two brothers, Justin and Malcom (Colorado Springs); her sister and best friend Jada Owens; her grandparents, Jimmy and Ornedia Richardson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her aunts Tiffany Richardson of Greensboro, NC, Marchelle Marshall (Bill) and Gwendolyn Owens of Trenton, NJ, and Sarah Foreman of Willingboro, NJ; and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at the Woodlake Lutheran Church, 7525 Oliver Ave. So., Richfield, MN. Viewing at 1 pm and service at 2 pm. All cards and condolences may be sent to Brooks Funeral Home, 862 Concordia Ave., St Paul, MN 55104.
