This week’s “Fab Five” photos feature five boys’ basketball players — Daniel Oturu (Cretin-Derham Hall), Tre Jones (Apple Valley), Tyrell Terry (DeLaSalle), Wendell Matthews (Columbia Heights) and Lu’Cye Patterson (Brooklyn Center) — who played well in the boys’ basketball tournament a couple of weeks ago.
Cretin-Derham Hall won the Class AAAA title; Apple Valley was runner-up; Columbia Heights place second in AAA competition; DeLaSalle emerged as the third place champion, while Brooklyn Center finished fourth in Class AA.
