Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Becoming book tour will make a stop at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center next year. Tickets for the March 13 stop of “Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama” go on sale Saturday at 10 am, with verified Ticketmaster accounts getting a 24-hour head start.
Published just a month ago, the memoir Becoming has been flying off the shelves, with over 3 million hard copies sold to date — reportedly one of the fastest-selling nonfiction book in history and already one of the best-selling political memoirs of all time. In the book and its subsequent promotion, Obama shares personal reflections and motivational insight for women of all ages.
On Tuesday, Live Nation and Crown Publishing announced that due to its overwhelming success, Obama will extend the tour to include 21 events next year, six of them in Europe.
Obama took to Twitter early Tuesday morning to celebrate the tour’s extension.
I’m having so much fun with all of you on my #IAmBecoming tour that I decided to do one final round of events to see folks in some cities we missed! These conversations have been so meaningful for me, and I hope they’ve been meaningful for you all, too. https://t.co/tOEk59nT71 pic.twitter.com/MMQTkZ4pMY
