St. Paul and Minnesota Foundations is now accepting applications for its Pan African Community Endowment (PACE) Fund. The annual fund awards up to $10,000 to select African and African American organizations and projects throughout Minnesota to address disparities and support cultural activations.
Since 1996, PACE has provided 187 grants that have supported a broad spectrum of efforts such as improving education, eradicating health disparities, and addressing the disproportionate rate of incarceration of African and African American juveniles and adults.
Previous recipients include the East African Immigrant Health Initiative and the Mental Health Resources in the African American Community Project.
This year, PACE is seeking grant proposals for projects and/or programs focused on reducing racial disparities in five priority funding areas: health, criminal justice, education, social justice, and arts and culture.
Grant deadline: August 14, 2019, at 3 pm.
