Augsburg women set single-game scoring record

The Augsburg University women’s basketball team set a school scoring record with a 101-48 victory over the College of Scholastica Tuesday evening at Si Melby Hall.

The No. 23-ranked Auggies (3-0) were led by seniors Tamera McLemore (Eagan) and Cameron Speese (DeLaSalle) scoring 15 points apiece, Nicole Zieldorf (St. Anthony), Salena Lor (Winona), and Aiza Wilson (DeLaSalle) each had 14 and Jaley Coplin (Shakopee) finished with 10.

Point guard Arianna Jones (Osseo) had an outstanding all-around floor game. Augsburg guard Tamera McLemore battles three St. Scholastica players for the rebound.
