The Minnesota Timberwolves’ 107-99 defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans marked the team’s eighth loss in a row. The Pelicans, meanwhile, snapped a 13-game losing streak, as Brandon Ingram scored 34 points, Jrue Holiday had 18, J.J. Redick 12, Josh Hart 11 and Lamar Ball 10, leading the Pelicans (7-22) to a victory over the Timberwolves (10-16) Wednesday evening at the Target Center.
Andrew Wiggins led the Timberwolves with 27 points. Robert Covington had 15, Gorgui Dieng finished with 13 and Treveon Graham and Shabazz Napier each contributed 10.
