
The Minnesota Timberwolves got back to their winning ways defeating the Golden State
Warriors 99-84 Thursday evening at the Target Center. The Timberwolves (13-21) were led by the outstanding play of forward Robert Covington and point guard Shabazz Napier.
Napier, playing a near-flawless floor game, and Covington, who gave a shooting clinic, led
the way 20 points each, while Naz Reid added 13, Kelan Martin contributed 12 and Jarrett
Culver chipped in 10.
Glenn Robinson, III led the Warriors with 16 points, Eric Paschall added 13 and Omari
Spellman and Damion Lee chipped in 10 apiece for the Warriors (9-27).
