Rev. Canon Gwendolyn J. Dillon, age 94, now at peace in Christ, passed on January 6, 2020, in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter of the late Henry F. Schofield and the late Lillian J. Schofield of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Gwendolyn was the beloved wife of the late John Crenshaw, Sr. and loving mother of the late John Crenshaw, Jr. (Iris); and the devoted wife of the late Webster Dillon. She was the proud grandmother of Mark Crenshaw, Michael Crenshaw (Jana) and Femi Johnson (Greg), and is cherished by her eight great- and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was fond sister to four late brothers and five late sisters and is remembered dearly by nieces and nephews, church members and friends who loved her dearly.
The Rev. Canon Gwendolyn J. Dillon was the founding director of Fr. Charles Pond Memorial Kitchen Ministry of SS. George & Matthias Episcopalian Church, Chicago, Illinois.
