Led by trained facilitators who also have a family member with mental illness, the support groups help families develop better coping skills and find strength through sharing their experiences.
A family support group meets on the third Thursday of each month, from 7-8:30 pm at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 15600 Old Rockford Rd. in Plymouth. For information, call Elizabeth at 612-432-0471.
Another family support group hosted by NAMI MN meets in Eden Prairie on the second & fourth Tuesday of each month, from 7-8:30 pm at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Dr. For information, call Carol at 952-426-0343.
