After an exhaustive search of over 327,000 entries, baby food and clothing giant Gerber has announced the winner of its 10th Annual Photo Search.
Besides the stylish headwrap, Magnolia Earl was chosen as the 2020 Gerber Spokesbaby because of her “joyful expression, playful smile and warm, engaging gaze,” Gerber noted on its website.
“She captured our attention right away. Her sunny personality shone right through and melted the judges’ hearts, and we’re sure it will melt yours too!” stated the company. Magnolia will be featured in Gerber’s promotion and marketing campaigns for the next year, in addition to a $25,000 prize for her family, $1,000 by Gerber Childrenswear, and $1,000 from Walmart, among other prizes.
Her mother, Courtney Earl, said in a release, “Magnolia has brought so much joy to everyone she meets. Her personality is beyond happy and joyful.”
Magnolia was adopted by the Earl family, becoming the Gerber company’s first known adopted spokesbaby. Her family found out she was the winner of the contest the week of her May 9th birthday.
